Welcome to "Wedding Planning Unmasked!" the Blog.

Weddings are a constant and are ever changing at the same time. "Wedding Planning Unmasked!" is a great foundation that for the most part should be timeless. Little did I know that the book would be published just a few months before the Covid19 pandemic hit. Unmasked took on an additional meaning very quickly. 

I want to introduce you to my "baby" that took a year to be born! How did it all start? I got mad one day at a report on the TV about the wedding industry that put everyone under a bus. A mean, double-decker, extra long articulating type of bus. I saw that the TV episode was not doing anyone planning a wedding any favors and probably doing more harm to them than those of us under the bus. I was determined to bridge or patch the knowledge divide by bringing helpful voices to the mix. 

"Wedding Planning Unmasked!" covers the art, science, logistics and psychology of weddings. If prepares you for just about everything to do with a wedding in bite-sized pieces. It cover topics that describe why it seems that everyone is going crazy. It addresses the things that no one wants to talk about from what bridal shops wish you would wear when shopping for a dress to how a couple can be held liable if they serve alcohol. It even includes warning signs of those very few vendors that you should run from in the opposite direction, quickly!

The book begins with a very useful tool called the Wedding Visionnaire. I created it almost immediately after I started my business Greatest of Days in 2007. It's an exercise to help you focus on what you really really want and how to set your budget accordingly. It's a couple's exercise that brings out a lot of surprises and a few laughs.

This blog is to be an open line to anyone planning a wedding but also to my readers. I will also tell you where you can get in on a virtual workshop or webinar, when I've created a new product, or something exciting I can't keep to myself.
